WHO WE ARE AND WHAT IS 'ANNIE SHARED HER LOCATION'?
Hi there!
My name is Natalie Ava Nasr, and I'm the Writer/Director of 'Annie Shared Her Location'.
I spent the first few months of 2021 interviewing women around the globe in order to gain a better understanding of the prevalence of gender based violence. The stories in 'Annie Shared Her Location' (ASHL) are a compilation of these women's experiences with different forms of sexual harassment.
Later in the year, I teamed up with my good friend, Cyrus Mirzashafa, Director/Producer of ASHL and the rest of his team from Thulsa Doom Productions. Together we filmed ASHL in the hopes of raising awareness on gender based violence.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
We are now in the post production phase and are only a few steps away from hitting the festival circuit. In order to cover the rest of the post-production costs, including color-grading and sound, we have decided to extend our crowd fund campaign.
OUR HOPES AND DREAMS
- We hope to fundraise £2,000 to go towards the completion of this project
- Even if you can't contribute, we would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word to friends, family, rape crisis centers, and other NGO's.
- Be sure to check back to see our final film and follow @anniesharedherlocation on Instagram for updates on how we're doing in the festival circuit or what our cast and crew are up to.
WHERE WE HOPE TO GO
Once the film is complete, we hope to distribute it to different educational institutions, women's organizations, and rape crisis centers. The goal is to both raise awareness and raise money to donate to these organizations.
