HELLO
Welcome to our fundraising campaign for The Edinburgh Festival Fringe! We are thrilled to be heading to the land of Alan Cumming, and would truly appreciate any support to help us with the costs of putting on our wonderful show. See below for our journey and how you can make a difference!
DEVELOPMENT HISTORY
Bea P. Deigh was first conceived as a final thesis project written, performed, and directed by Arden Winant as a part of the MA Acting program at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2022.
After several rewrites it then premiered as a part of the Kaleidoscope Theatre Festival at the Golden Goose Theatre in February 2023. In January 2024, Winant partnered with director Grainne Robson and Salt Circle Productions to bring Bea P. Deigh to The Penn Theatre where it played for a week of sold-out performances.
It went on to debut at the Camden Fringe Festival in August of 2024 at The Lion and Unicorn Theatre where it earned 5-star reviews across the board, culminating in a Standing Ovation Award Nomination from London Pub Theatres Magazine.
Now we are excited to be heading to The Space in Edinburgh for a two week run at The Space with rewrites and a producer attached. This is our best version yet and fundraising is an important part of getting this production to where we want it to be.
“A vital and humorous insight into one of the world’s most misunderstood mental health diagnoses.” A Young(ish) Perspective
“[’Bea P. Deigh’] managed to avoid being a trauma dump by shifting the focus to provide an insight into how the world around us is not shaped for minds that diverge from the norm, and Winant beautifully explores how one can then deal with that disparity.” West End With Me
“Bea P. Deigh is the best thing I have seen on the Camden Fringe this year. Absurd and heartbreaking in equal measure, Winant and Robson have delivered an expert production that I hope they take to further stages.” London Pub Theatres Magazine
“It’s rare to have a theatrical performance change entrenched ideas, but ‘Bea P. Deigh’, the creator, and protagonist produced a work at times amusing, at times heartrending, and certainly did her subject material - and her condition - justice.”Audience Review

In order to take the show to Edinburgh we need to fund rehearsals, a marketing campaign, performer fees, set, costume and props, as well as venue hire!
We would be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer and have rewards available for various levels of donations which you can see to the right!
