Come Back For More
My name is Qura Tul Aien Bhatti, and I currently study at Metfilm School while working as a bartender on the side.
Filmmaking is everything to me. It’s a complex art form, where countless elements converge to create a fantasy, an escape from the mundane world. This intricate process has always fascinated me; I couldn’t imagine dedicating my life to anything else.
I want to make this film because it carries an important message the world needs right now. It comes from my personal regrets and anger, but it's also something many people can relate to. Through this film, I hope to spark conversations and reflections that are deeply needed in our current times.
The audience will connect with one or more characters, as they are meant to be a reflection of humanity today. These characters embody the experiences and emotions that many of us face, hopefully making the film relatable and impactful.
Hi my name is Nicky Kinkladze O’Callaghan, I am the Producer for Come Back For More. I am currently a student at MetFilm School. It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly got me into filmmaking but I think being someone who found themselves in the position of the observer quite a lot lead to having quite a fond association with capturing moments and trying to say something in a manner that people may not understand on the surface level but resonates within them as if it was their very own creation.
I think this film is a voice for the voiceless in some sense, the extreme violence masquerades as a symbol for the excessive distractions that can muddle out genuine conversation in todays day and age, the audience are in for some stunning visuals, an emotionally powerful story with a soundscape to die for
I’m Greta Elettra and I’m currently studying practical filmmaking at Met film school in London.
My passion lies in visuals and that’s why I want to become a cinematographer and a director.
What fascinates me the most about film is the possibility to create a whole world within a camera frame.
I was drawn into this project mainly because of the people that I love working with.
I felt connected with the idea of this film right away and felt I wanted to contribute for the project to happen. The film’s provocative style will portray human connection on a deeper level, and that’s what we need right now.
Hi my name is Ned Matyjaszek and I am a film student at Metfilm London, hoping to specialise in editing and otherwise driving around film equipment for the extra cash.
I think editing is possibly THE most important aspect of a good film - a few choice cuts can make or break even the best shot footage, and its a significantly less stressful job than being on set.
I feel there's a fierce energy and punch to the script that I can see cutting together in my head already, and having worked with most of the production crew before I am fully confident in their ability to pull off such a complex production on set.
The film will entice audiences in both visceral and cerebral ways - shocking violence and lvaish set design for those interested in a visual feast, and an intense, complex exploration of the inner workings of a person's mind for those more psychologically inclined.
For this project, my idea is to use a calculated sequence of color and visual feel that illustrates the story's emotional journey. We will adopt a plain, subdued look - think washed out colors, dim contrasting lights, and a stark visual design, in the movie's early acts.
This thoughtful method will underline the emotional suffering of the characters and the melancholic universe of the story. Nonetheless, when the stakes rise and the characters' fates evolve towards the denouements, the visual Treatment will gradually become more vibrant and saturated. We will intensify warm tones, richer colors, and enhance the contrast in lighting levels. This visual multiplication will unfold in such a way that it almost seems as if the picture is conversing with the viewer
I am enrolled in the MA Directing of MetFilm school, studying directing for short films, TV series, and ads. I chose a career in film-making to depict emotions through visual story-telling. The collaborative process of film-making is the aspect of the craft I like most, as it takes a village to bring a story to its best outcome.
The scenery of the film and the strong development of each characters convinced me to be part of the project. When I discovered the script, the suspense and the rhythm of each scene drew me to read as fast as possible: once the project is brought to the screen, the audience would share that feeling!
BUDGET STATEMENT
Although our budget seems extensive there is method behind our madness, let me explain.
Our Location is number 1 priority, we are in need of somewhere that screams etheral, A garden of Eden type, it should still have distinctive earthly features but needs to have the aura of somewhere alien to planet earth. We have managed to source our location however with the exsessive violence on display and the fact we are shooting for multiple days in a public space means a significant amount of permissions as well as the ability to cordone off a section of the public park we intend to shoot in which is leading us close to 2,000£ for Location alone
Costume; Our costumes are derived of 7 uniquely designed dresses, they are being designed in London, and hand crafted in Pakistan. It is looking likely that each dress from design to production to shipment will set us back about 150£ per dress, leaving us with a total of 1,050£.
Props; Props play a big role in this film, each prop, like the costumes are specifically chosen for each character based of it's significance in the characters story or personality. we are looking at a long wooden oak table along with many delicate vintage trinkets to accompany and dress the set. The current estimate on props is looking at about 700£.
Transport, Catering; We have a significant amount of props, costume Equiptment and most importantly people to transport. We will have to rent a van seperate for Props and for Equiptment in order to get everything on set for the times needed. Ideally with any extra money we can pay for our crew and cast's Transport but for the meantime everyone is paying out of pocket for this passion project.....
The budget we are looking for is crazy, but so is the film we are trying to produce, this is a movie about being unheard in a generation that so avidly promotes connection, we want to begin a conversation that is well over due and change the perception of a STUDENT FILM FOREVER!
Help us on our Journey to do this and become a part of history today!
