Have a watch of our crowd funder intro just above and let us know what you think! We really appreciate any support you can give!

The video above is the short we shot in 1 evening to bring some life to the concept, the feature has a much bigger scope a new cast and a lot more fun!

An Interview with Buckethead - is a quirky comedy horror shot in a mockumentary style from award winning writer, director Matthew Camfield & creator of The Last Garden - a multi award winning dystopian Sci-Fi.

A Taste - For an idea of what we're aiming for, imagine - What we do in the Shadows meets Blackadder & The Blair Witch Project!

Synopsis - After acquiring fame through a series of legend hunting podcasts, Martin & Macy (The M&M Mystery Hunters) begin their most exciting expedition to date, the hunt for Buckethead. Having heard of the podcasters successes Martin & Macy are approached by a somewhat incompetent but overly enthusiastic film crew who offer to film the hunt for Buckethead, little do they know that he is real, he is a man... with a bucket on his head & the crew are dragged into a world of murder, myth, madness & hilarity.

About Us - We are Matchbox Studios, a multi award winning film production studio based out of Northampton creating emotionally resonant stories with the ability to really make you feel and think about our films... OR failing that - we'll make you laugh your ass off!

What we're raising funds for - having put a fair amount of financial investment in myself, there is only so far I can stretch, we are looking for funds to obtain the final pieces of lighting kit required to really make this film pop, the set of Buckethead's lair & a bit of camera kit. Anything extra will help us to really make this bold vision, bolder.

An Interview with Buckethead - is the reworking of a short film we shot in 1 evening, the culmination of months of writing, a whole bunch of hard work & personal investment so we're really excited to share this project and hopefully count on your support for the final stage of funding we need.

Matthew Camfield is a Northampton based, multi award winning Screenwriter, Director & Production Designer.

Unsatisfied with creating short films, after Producing & Directing 13+ of them - Matthew began his journey into feature film narratives with his debut "The Light of Dead Stars" which is currently running around the festival circuit picking up awards as he types.

An Interview with Buckethead is Inspired by Matthew's Enter the Agency short web series & the works of Taika Waititi (more notably "What we do in the Shadows") the concept stemmed from wanting to create a dark, bleak world, spatter it with blood & make you laugh about it.

Nothing can really describe the film without seeing it or reading the script, so I hope that you're support comes with the trust that me & the crew will create something awesome as a result!
