Thanks for checking out the fundraiser for "LITTLE BIG BROTHER". Let us walk you through what the project is about!
When Miles' estranged older brother Reggie unexpectedly returns home, he takes his Miles on a chaotic road trip up to Edinburgh in a newly purchased VW camper van. With points of contention left untouched until now, will the brothers make it to their destination unscathed? Or will the close proximity force them into dredging up the past...
STORY
When Miles prepares to leave home for university, an unexpected visitor arrives — his estranged older brother, Reggie. Unkempt and full of nervous energy, Reggie proposes a road trip to Scotland in his VW camper van, eager to reconnect before Miles starts his new life.
What begins as a simple journey soon spirals into a chaotic adventure filled with roadside mishaps, drunken pub quizzes, and long-buried family tensions. As the brothers navigate their fractured relationship, some unresolved grief looms over them. While Miles struggles with resentment and Reggie hides behind humour and recklessness, both must confront their shared grief and the ways they've drifted apart.
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
Over the past year, I've faced a lot of emotional ups and downs and experienced a lot of change. I want Little Big Brother to dig into those feelings, exploring the tough parts of relationships and the struggles we all face. I want to capture those real, heartfelt moments, but also the funny, bright side of life — kind of like a road trip with unexpected twists and turns!
This film matters to me because I think a lot of people keep their feelings and emotions to themselves too much. As somebody who's done this for a large portion of my life, I now see how much just talking can help. I want Little big Brother to show you that you're not alone, that it's okay to feel what you're feeling, and that there are different ways to handle things. It's all about connecting with others, understanding that we can get through tough times together, and that although those times may be tough or sad, laughter will always find a way to sneak in, sometimes when we least expect it!

WHAT WE NEED
We need a projected £7,500 to pull this off. Here's a breakdown of where that'll be going:
- Locations are expensive, and we've got a lot of them.
- We can't shoot in a moving vehicle for safety reasons, which means we need to cheat it using a green screen. We've found an affordable-ish studio, but that's still about £800 per day.
- We're shooting multicam, which means we've got an extra camera to insure and double the camera department to feed and transport.
- We want to be able to pay our cast the living wage they deserve!
On a slightly lighter note...
WHAT WE DON'T NEED:
- Your money will not be helping us source a VW camper van, because that's one of the only things we already have. (Thank you to our friend Amelia, for graciously donating their own bus "Betsy" to the production!)
