Meet our protagonist— Pro, and your Antagonist – Ant, your typical late-20s dreamers, stuck in the grind and longing for true love.
But why does it always seem just out of reach? Why does no one stick around? Or worse—does it even exist?
Maybe it’s not just modern dating culture or the algorithms working against us. Maybe the hard truth is… love isn't the fixer we believe it will bring to our lives.
What if what we really need isn’t another swipe or second chance—but a wake-up call? A long, hard look in the mirror. Because maybe, just maybe, what we’ve been searching for has been here all along. We’ve just been taught to overlook it.

Based on the Thirty Six Questions to Fall in Love - a study created by Arthur Aron in 1997, and then popularised by the New York Times in 2015.

Synopsis
In Love to Love, two people get the ultimate chance of finding true love. Matched by science to their soulmate, or whatever that means, Love to Love is the ultimate reality dating show. Spending 36 hours, answering 36 questions to fall in love, all our romantic answers are solved. Or are they?
Meet our protagonist— Pro, and your Antagonist – Ant, your typical late-20s dreamers, stuck in the grind and longing for true love.
But why does it always seem just out of reach? Why does no one stick around? Or worse—does it even exist?
Maybe it’s not just modern dating culture or the algorithms working against us. Maybe the hard truth is… love isn't the fixer of our lives. It isn't the magical elixir that makes life happy.
Isn’t that what a lot of it comes down to?
And yet this seeking, hoping and wanting of a perfect partner, that gets us, is what keeps us miserable.
What if what we really need isn’t another swipe or second chance—but a wake-up call? A long, hard look in the mirror. Because maybe, just maybe, what we’ve been searching for has been here all along. We’ve just been taught to overlook it.

Why Love to Love?
As a late twenty-something, I’ve spent years chasing happiness through worldly achievements, relationships, and financial success—only to realize that the capitalist narrative was selling me a false promise. The house, the husband, the kids—society tells us that’s the ultimate goal. But what if it’s not?
Frustrated with the never-ending rat race, I turned to deeper, more metaphysical pursuits—meditation, shadow work, and self-inquiry—desperate to find meaning beyond the mundane.
Love to Love confronts this culture of seeking, using romantic relationships as a lens to explore our obsession with external validation. How far will we go just to feel seen? How much of ourselves will we sacrifice to be loved?
This play flips romance culture on its head, questioning whether the love we tirelessly chase in another is actually the self-love we’ve been denying ourselves all along.
It’s bold, it’s raw, and it’s a conversation we all need to have.

Invest in the Future of Theatre with Oneness Productions
Our debut run at the Golden Goose Theatre is just the beginning. This marks the first step in an ambitious and far-reaching plan to bring Love to Love to audiences across the UK.
We've already secured a week-long run at the prestigious Pleasance Theatre this October and are actively engaging with other top-tier New Writing Theatres in London. But we’re thinking bigger.
Starting this September, Love to Love will embark on an exciting UK-wide tour—visiting universities, schools, and intimate black-box theatres to spark conversations around love, relationships, and self-worth. Our goal? To inspire, educate, and entertain—challenging perspectives on romance and self-love across generations.
Beyond performances, Oneness Productions will run immersive theatre and self-love workshops, giving back to communities and nurturing the next wave of theatre-makers.
Your investment will directly fuel this tour, expand our reach, and lay the foundation for future productions. Join us in shaping the future of theatre—let’s make something unforgettable together.

We Need You to Help Us Bring Love to Love to Life!
We are seeking funding to stage a two-night run at the Golden Goose Theatre in Camberwell this May—a critical stepping stone toward securing larger arts funding, launching a UK tour, and securing a three-week run at a leading new-writing theatre in London.
This first performance is more than just a show; it’s our launchpad. It will allow us to:
🎥 Professionally film the production for future promotion and funding pitches.
🎭 Gain vital audience feedback to refine and enhance the piece.
✨ Increase exposure and establish a strong presence in the theatre industry.
Without this crucial first run, the show may never reach its full potential.

Where Your Investment Goes
Your contribution will directly support:
- Essential props, including a countdown timer and a game-show-style buzzer—both integral to the story.
- Minimalist set and costumes, including a table, two chairs, and two white jumpsuits.
- Fair pay for our talented creatives, including actors, directors, a stage technician, and a composer—many of whom are emerging artists dedicated to their craft.
- Rehearsal space hire to bring the show to life.
- Marketing and promotional materials to ensure Love to Love reaches the widest audience possible.
This is more than just a production—it’s the start of something bigger. Your support will help us take this vital first step and set the stage for an exciting future in theatre.
Join us in making it happen!

Oneness Productions – Theatre That Unites Us
At Oneness Productions, we tell stories that connect us all—stories rooted in our shared human experience. From love and loss to war and peace, our work explores the universal truths that define what it means to be human. We shine a light on untold narratives, exposing the raw, essential elements of life in ways that are bold, thought-provoking, and deeply resonant.
In 2023, we were finalists for the prestigious Charlie Harthill Award at the Pleasance, London—a testament to our dedication to innovative, powerful storytelling. Our award-winning short film, Thirty-Six, was successfully crowdfunded on Greenlit, and this play is a continuation of that journey.
We believe in theatre that doesn’t just entertain—it challenges, inspires, and unites. Join us as we push boundaries, spark conversations, and bring meaningful stories to the stage.
Other Work
Alongside Love to Love, we’ve continued to develop bold, thought-provoking work. Our projects include:
🎭 Aaron – A powerful play exploring genetic conditions, performed in partnership with Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA). The piece resonated so deeply that one individual with the condition drove four hours just to see it, saying:
"When is anyone ever going to put a play on about me?"
🔮 Chapter 3568 – A deep dive into the mysteries of the afterlife, questioning what comes next.
At Oneness Productions, we tell stories that give a voice to the unheard—and Love to Love is the next chapter in that journey.
This is more than just a play. It’s the culmination of years of passion, resilience, and artistic growth. And we’re just getting started.
