SYNOPSIS
Noah is set modern day in Streatham & draws inspiration from the bibles Noah’s ark. The story follows a group of classmates who find themselves trapped inside their school after a mysterious red storm surrounds the building. No one can get in, no one can get out, no teachers, no signal, just the kids and whatever food’s left in the canteen.
As the days drag on, tensions boil over, alliances shift, and chaos builds. While Hams, the bully, tightens his grip on the group, Noah is isolated in the science room, threatened into silence. But when his best friend needs him most, Noah faces a choice to stay hidden or finally step up.
Does he find the courage to act, or let fear keep him quiet?
Noah is a story about survival, faith, and finding strength when everything familiar disappears. It’s inspired by the biblical flood, but reimagined through the eyes of South London teenagers navigating a world that is in their hands.
Directors bio & statement
Hey I’m Rhiannon, a film director & writer with over six years in the industry. I started out studying acting at East 15 Acting School, but quickly found my passion in writing and directing shorts, music videos, and all kinds of short-form projects.
I run Grey Waves Films, where I focus on creating visually striking, high-quality work that really connects and sticks with people. Over the years, I’ve worked with brands like ASOS, Centrepoint, and lots of small businesses, always bringing my own unique vision and attention to detail.
One of my short films, Tube, got some great feedback and played at festivals like Dumbo, Venizia, Earls Court, and London Lift Off. I was also lucky enough to win Best Actress at the I AM Film Festival, which was a really special moment for me.
I’ve just released a new short called Go Mama — a simple, heartfelt film about motherhood.
I make stories that inspire people to create and become the best versions of themselves, or empower young people with stories that uplift.
