Sail The House Home
When Cici goes to stay with her grandfather, Leonard, his house starts sinking into the ocean.
Built from real conversations about climate with children across the UK, this show follows Cici, Leonard and some talking pine trees on an adventure to save their home that shows both of them what it means to imagine a new future in the rubble of what once was.

HEY THERE!
We are November Theatre, and we're so happy you've found our Greenlit page.
November Theatre is a performance making collective based between Cornwall and London. We make work that centres joy and works with different community groups to tell their stories in imaginitive, inclusive ways.
We can't wait to tell you about the next project we're working on...
THE PROJECT
"What would you save at the end of world?"
"A book. My grandad. And the guy who runs the Cornershop because he always gives me free sweets"
Sail the House Home is November Theatre's new play all about the end of the world, adventure, and who we hold hands with in times of disaster.
To make the play, we will be running workshops with young people aged 10+ in South London and on the Cornish Coast all about the end of the world. The project aims to connect kids in both rural and urban areas of the UK that will be most highly impacted by climate change. Not only this, but as the generation who will be most greatly affected by our changing world, we think it's essential that young people's voices, stories and perspectives inform this show and the future of climate-led theatre!
At this stage, we have piloted our workshops with Southwark Playhouse Young company and Elder's Company, and we are seeking funding to bring our workshops to a wider audience, and develop the story further...

THE SHOW
The final show will be for audiences of 10+: a show full of adventure, music, hope and rising sea levels.
Alongside the show, we are also generating ways to get the audience directly involved in dreaming up elements of the set and the story, to keep the conversation alive and the show growing every single performance.
The play will be presented in May 2025 at Southwark Playhouse in South London and in Cornwall, Summer 2025

THE ASK
Making theatre is incredibly difficult in the current economic climate, and November Theatre is committed to ensuring that everyone we work with gets a fair wage for their work on the project, which is especially important in light of the current cost of living crisis and the constant funding cuts to the arts.
This show is all about bridging the gap between a theatre show and our audiences, showing young people that their voices are valid, important and creative. Every donation allows us to take the show to a wider audience of young people, raising awareness of the key issues explored in the piece. We need to raise £3,000 to help cover:
- paying our actors and creative team fairly
- paying our facilitators and workshops leaders who work with our community groups
- 2 weeks of rehearsal
- purchasing materials to build our interactive set
Truly every pound/dollar helps us get us closer to our goal.
We also have a series of rewards for those of you who donate, so please take a look. Thank you for any help you can give.

OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP
Every little bit helps, but if you can't donate, you can definitely still help us out! Please make noise about our campaign and our show. Share it on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and bring it to the attention of all your friends.
