Hello Team Wallaby supporters!

I hope you’re all well, and have an exciting update for you…

Since we finished shooting the film back at the start of June, we’ve been working hard on the post-production of Secrets of a Wallaby Boy.  And I’m thrilled to say that, though things like the score, colour grade, and the trickier visual effects shots took us a while to get right, we now have a completed film!

We’re now going to take a much-deserved Christmas break, before starting to properly work out our distribution plan. But some of you have been asking when you’ll be able to see the film, so I thought I’d briefly outline where we are and what we hope to do from here.

2023 is going to be all about getting the film into festivals, and hopefully holding a public screening or two in Manchester. Because festivals don’t want films that are easily accessible online, we can’t do a full streaming release until the festival run is over. This will come, but not for a while.

For our Greenlit supporters who have bought digital premiere access or DVDs/Blu-rays, these will be distributed once the film has premiered. We can’t confirm when that will be yet, but all going well, it will be sometime in the first few months of 2023.

Finally, as a festive treat and to celebrate the end of post-production, we’ve released a short clip from the film, in which Tim (Brandon McCaffrey) signs up to be a Wallaby courier, and meets Bruce (Colin Baker). You can watch this below.

I wish you all a happy Christmas and New Year.

Kieron
