Threedumb Theatre @ Edinburgh Fringe
We are a husband-and-wife team heading to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer, presenting 2x shows throughout the month.
We are raising funds to help us present 'One Man Poe' and 'A Montage of Monet'.
Project
Threedumb Theatre @ Edinburgh Fringe
About our summer ahead:
A Montage of Monet is a brand new solo show written by Joan Greening, about the life of the French Impressionist Claude Monet. To paint the picture of this complex character, this montage of his life story will incorporate live projections and powerful storytelling.
One Man Poe is an award-winning solo show that was created during the pandemic. The show features four gothic tales from American author Edgar Allan Poe. For our month at festival, we will be alternating the stories throughout our run.
Both shows are performed and directed by Stephen Smith, and all of the shows will be operated by Stephanie Van Driesen - a husband-and-wife dynamic duo!
We have a busy fringe ahead of us: we are putting on 36 shows over 23 days!
How you can help:
By reaching our goal of £3,000, we can assure that
- our our travel to Edinburgh and back home will be covered
- our bus travel while in Edinburgh will be covered (we're not staying near our venue)
- our accommodation for 25 nights is covered
- our printing costs for our flyers (for both shows) are covered
- our Registration Fees for presenting all 36 shows are covered
^ It sounds like a lot, but this is no where near the total amount.
We are going to work hard while we're up there to make sure that through our ticket sales we cover all remaining costs. These include (but are not limited to):
Food & Drink, Venue Hire, Costume hire, Props, Hiring set, Transportation of set pieces, Insurance, Artist fees, Posters, Social Media Ads, Printing of posters, Printing of show brochures
Your generous donations will ensure that all our 36 shows go as well as they possibly can do, and that we won't arrive back from Edinburgh broken and defeated...!
Thank you!
If you are not in a position where you can donate
