This documentary follows our producer, Mia, visiting her family roots to uncover what the future holds for the mining communities left in the North East of England.
This documentary is being created by final year television students from Ravensbourne University London as their final university project. The producer, Mia Cowen-Dixon is the lead for this documentary as it is a project that is near and dear to her heart.
Joining her along this journey are Amelia Emin, the director and director of photography (DOP). Ma Meco Tesoro, sound operator and James Spiers-Suttle, stills photographer.
