WHO WE ARE
"Bet On Dwight!” is the second feature film from North East England based production company Terabithia Pictures.

Having made several acclaimed short films, we took the plunge and put together our first feature film with the amazing help of our incredible backers from our previous crowd funding efforts- which helped us shape the best feature we could, and we're thrilled to say that the film has won several awards, is available to view on Amazon Prime right now and has received praise from many other filmmakers and critics such as Chris Foggin, director of the feature film Fisherman's Friends!
Can lightning strike twice? THE PREMISE
The story follows Sam, a struggling videographer who, at his wit's end on how to make it big in the film and TV industry, creates a flashy and zany persona (Dwight) in an attempt to get noticed. What follows is an ego trip like no other, as the lines between Sam and Dwight begin to blur more and more and stir conflict in all aspects of his life.
“Bet On Dwight!” is a love letter to all those working in the media industry, and is full of relatable scenarios audiences will find both humor and heartbreak in, regardless of their connection to the media world.
The project is inspired and influenced by works such as The Social Network, Steve Jobs, Better Call Saul, and Nightcrawler. The film also draws on The Disaster Artist, Ed Wood, Breaking Bad, and tick, tick...BOOM!.
