A new solo musical: BoyBi is an exhilarating new musical exploring the self-discovery journey and adversity of growing up bisexual. The show is raw, emotional, funny and uplifting.

    Director: Rikki Beadle—Blair

Named several years running on the Independent on Sunday’s Pink List as one the 100 most influential gay people in Britain, multi-award-winner Rikki is perhaps best known for creating the cult series Metrosexuality for Channel 4, writing the screenplay for Nigel Finch’s Stonewall, and for his anti-homophobic-bullying films FIT and FREE. Rikki has a life-long commitment to creating challenging, transformative entertainment. He created Team Angelica to pursue these goals and to share opportunities with performers, artists and practitioners.

BoyBi premiered to a sell-out audience at Clapham Fringe in October 2022 and is now back, bigger and better for one week at the Turbine Theatre. Written and performed by Evan Reynolds, directed by Rikki Beadle—Blair.

19 year old singer songwriter George met his girlfriend Millie at University. They’ve been together for six months and the time has finally come for George to meet Milles parents…her very ‘traditional parents’.

George transcends from a confident, happy go lucky guy into a panic stricken mess, convinced he ‘must’ change in order to gain their approval.

George starts to unravel his experiences, ranging from coming out, masculinity, bisexuality and even his first kiss! BoyBi is a charming, playful comedy, with heartwarming stories and songs written and performed by Evan Reynolds.

Evan is 20, from Staffordshire has and is studying a BA in Acting & CDT at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. This is the first musical Evan has written, but the third time BoyBi has taken stage.

Featuring original songs by Evan Reynolds and produced by the very talented artist and friend Will Rhead.
