Good day everyone! We've been very busy these last few months working away on Ecstasy. Over the coming weeks, we have Q&A's in the pipeline with our lead actress Holli Dempsey, our composer Alexandra Hamilton-Ayres, and hopefully some more of our team so you can get all the insights into what has been happening behind the scenes.

But first up put this date in your diary - April 11th 2021 - World Parkinson's day. We'll be doing an online screening for you, our backers, on this date, we'll screen the film just for you (And your household) and we can have a Q&A afterwards too, we'll be figuring out the best way for this to work and keep you updated before the big day. And for any of you that can't make the day, we'll give you a link to the movie which will be live for a few days. This will be just for you as we'll be entering the film into festivals and eventually releasing it in the future with a strategy in place for all to see with a bang.

The great news is that Ecstasy is in its final stages. The edit has been locked... and our composer has been working away on the music that's going to add even more of a beating heart to our movie, it's upped the feeling of adrenaline, the emotion and got us tapping our feet as we follow our characters on their crazy attempt to buy drugs so that the Dad can dance with his wife. Right now we're so close and just need the post-production trio of music, sound design and colour grading to align. Quick recap:

Music - We have a beautiful score in place, and we're waiting for the first pass of the sound mix to happen so that we can make our final comments. All we can let you know is that the music is a little ravey and dancey with a killer beat and beautiful main riff.

Sound - Our Re-recording mixer Chiara is working away at making sure the sound is as perfect as can be. Trying to make 3 days of filming in all kinds of conditions (remember the torrential rain) sound coherent and adding in sound effects takes our movie up to the next level.

Colour Grade - Our grader Otto has been trying to colour match all the different days and lighting conditions adding in colour where it's needed and giving the film a 'look' that sets us apart.

We've been passing back and forth lots of 'time-stamped' notes. E.g at 0.20 seconds his face is looking a little pink can we tone that down... Can the drums kick in at this point... let's add in some extra deep breathing here so that the audience think he's even more nervous about the drug deal...

And we've had lot's of zoom calls too.

Stay tuned, stay safe and stay excited. I've seen the film hundreds of times, we're super proud of it and it's definitely worth the wait.

Thaaaaaanks, Grant & the whole team.
