I Am Not Your Muse

From director Elizabeth J. Cassidy, ‘I Am Not Your Muse’ is a stylised short film following an actress's personal awakening - from objectified beauty to authentic identity. Partly inspired by the male artists and female muses of the Pre-Raphaelite and Renaissance movement, 'I Am Not Your Muse' follows a woman's journey of self-reclamation whilst asserting the female gaze on screen.

We need your help...

With your help, we will be able to start shooting our short film this September. We need £11,000 to make our film how we have envisioned. However, we are raising £6,500 so we can shoot as much of 'I Am Not Your Muse' as possible this September. What we do shoot of the film in September will also act as a proof of concept to show external investors for them to fully fund our film.
