i wish you'd look out your window
This film is as a collection of moments from Lucy and Sarah’s relationship. They spend their free time together doing what teenagers usually do - listening to music, breaking stuff and just generally nothing. But in those moments their feelings towards each other start to grow and neither one of them knows how to deal with them.
Project
i wish you'd look out your window
Lucy and Sarah are spending time together riding bikes, exploring the area, smoking weed. One tender but awkward moment makes both of them hold on to it forever.
"This project is important to me not only creatively but also deeply personally as it helped me understand my own struggles with identity. I hope that by making it I can remind people of those emotions of an awkward teenage experience and through that help them understand the world, the people around them, and themselves just a tiny bit more."

We are very excited to be working on this film and we hope you will help us bring it to life. This is a completely independent production, everyone in the crew is either a current or past student at London Film Academy and we’re all friends. As this is a story with a female perspective, most of the crew are women. We all have experience in filmmaking and feel pretty confident that if we get enough resources we can make something really special and meaningful.
We are aiming to shoot this film in two days in late April. Currently we’re scouting locations and auditioning actresses. We’re working at a pretty good steady pace and with your help we could achieve our goal and create a unique experience for every single person who watches the film.
SYNOPSIS:
Lucy and Sarah become friends at the end of last year of high school. They start spending time together, riding bikes, exploring the area, sharing stuff. Sarah shows Lucy an abandoned building where they throw rocks at the windows. Lucy gives Sarah a daisy while they’re on a walk in the woods. Sarah teaches Lucy how to do a hand whistle. Lucy makes a bracelet for Sarah. Sarah shows Lucy her favourite band.
One night they’re sitting on a hill watching the sunset over the town. Sarah rolls a joint, Lucy smokes weed for the first time. Lucy gets paranoid, but Sarah manages to calm her down. Before they leave Sarah kisses Lucy but it’s awkward and Lucy doesn’t know how to respond. Sarah walks Lucy home but they both still feel weird. The next day Sarah leaves the crumbled daisy Lucy gave her earlier on the pavement in front of Lucy’s house.

THE TEAM
Find out a bit more about our amazing heads of departments! These are the people who are leading the production forward with their creativity and skills. We're all very passionate about making this film and we are working tirelessly to create something special.
BUDGET BREAKDOWN
Unfortunately, filmmaking is expensive. To achieve the best result we want to rent industry standard equipment and beautiful locations, hire professional actresses, we need to provide food and lunches on set for the entire crew, buy and rent props and costumes and move quickly between locations on set to be efficient and productive.
