MAIKEN - Michelle J. Wright

Michelle is an award winning Actress and Singer who graduated from Italia Conti Theatre School London, with a full scholarship for 3 years on the Acting and Performing Arts Course. Michelle has been performing since a very early age and has performed in many shows including "Cinderella" starring June Brown (Eastenders), Windsor Davis and Stefan Dennis (Neighbours), The National Youth Music Theatre in their production of "War Child" when she was 10, and The National Youth Theatre when she was 15.

Michelle is also a highly skilled Singer and has performed principal roles in many shows and high class events around the world, including South East Africa, The Asian and European Tour of "The Fire Of Dance", Celebrity Cruises, Dublin's "Spirit of Christmas" and many more.. all performing as the Lead Vocalist.

THYRA - Daniella Michieli

Daniella grew up in Buckinghamshire before moving to London to study at Arts Educational Schools London. Daniella was a member of the Jackie Palmer Agency from the age of 6 and was cast in a number of television programmes, commercials and plays in the West End.

Daniella is also an ice skater and was British Silver Medalist at the British Solo Ice Dance Championships in 2005. As a singer Daniella toured with productions of Annie and Whistle Down the Wind. Daniella has also danced for The Wanted on Strictly Come Dancing.

LISBET - Johanna Tuominen

Johanna K Tuominen is a multilingual Nordic actress born and raised in Finland. She studied acting in New York, 2014, before moving to Cambridge to get a degree in Performing Arts, 2018. She ended up in London after being booked for a stage production set to begin in Turkey, and she enjoys having worked internationally both on stage and screen across three continents.

ELVIND - Nicholas Pople

Nicholas trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He is an intermediate actor combatant trained in theatrical firearms and has BADC qualifications in sword and shield, knife, longswords, quarterstaff and advanced unarmed combat.

He just wrapped as the leading role in the crime, thriller short 'The Nautilus Mutiny'. He is set play the lead role in a Viking fantasy drama in July and multi-role in a play at the Camden Fringe in August.

ODIN - Tristan Pretty

Tristan is an experienced theatre, TV and film actor, with roles branching across many genres. He's always looking for his next challenge and to enhance every project he jumps aboard.

Every film needs a hardworking, dedicated and positive minded crew, and the MAIKEN team are a prime example of that. Below are a few of the key crew members who are involved.

Howard Perry - Producer, Writer/Director

Born in London, an accomplished stills photographer, Howard studied Film Making at MetFilm, Ealing Studios, London. He works as an independent film producer, director and screenwriter.

Howard, currently, lives in Kent, United Kingdom and has filmed in Canada, South Africa and New Zealand. Howard has a passion for classic story telling, using the medium of film to entertain his audience, and is inspired by classic film production styles.

Howard has directed shorts, music videos and documentaries. His films have been awarded at International Festivals. Howard’s last film “Waiting for Nicko” was nominated for three awards at the 2021 Cannes International Film Festival – Best Short Film, Best Actress and Best Editing.

Frank Hammond - Cinematographer

Frank Hammond is a Producer/Director, Cinematographer and Gaffer from Surrey in the United Kingdom.

Frank began his journey in film in 2016, taking on many different jobs in commercials, music videos and narrative shorts as a runner. Soon after this in 2018, Frank began to progress into Lighting Design on low budget music videos. This then again progressed, growing into designing for short films, feature films and bigger music videos.

So far Frank is 3 feature films and 10 short films in, and is very excited to add MAIKEN to that list!

Lili Giacobino - Production Designer

Lili is a Designer maker based in Kingston Upon Thames, Lili has always preferred to express herself by creating things with her hands. Born in France, grown up in Switzerland and established in UK for 12 years, she has a skillset that goes from carpentry to plumbing, from sculpting to interior design. She likes to tell visual stories by bringing to life incredible ideas with practical solutions. Fascinated by craftsmanship and with a strong attention to details, Lili enjoy working on films and tackle every challenge with creativity to bring a director’s vision to life.

Lili is an award-winning Animator bring her art into incredibly detailed story telling.

Jason Boyle - Armour Designer

Jason started many years ago live role playing. With no off the shelf costumes at that time, Jason began making his own costumes, weapons and other props. Jason is also a Viking reenactor, where he has quite the reputation of creating historically authentic armour.

We are well on our way through pre-production, and have lots to show already.

Our locations are locked down in a forest in Kent, as well as an incredibly impressive Viking Longhouse in a reenactment village, also in Kent.

Nick, who will be playing Elvind has been scrubbing up on his axe throwing skills in preparation for the shoot as well!

Jason and Lili have also been hard at work getting all of the costumes fit and ready for the actors, and they are looking incredible!
