Tales of the Underworld
A series of short films that create an anthology of stories that will be inter linked to create a feature film. These stories in turn are linked to the Award winning feature film Lucas and Albert and the follow up film Babysitters that will be in production in the near future.
shot on location in Tendring in North Essex, we hope to have the film ready for screening by the spring 2024.

Tales of the Underworld
Tales of the underworld is an anthology of short films about the criminal underworld. That are linked together to create a stand alone feature film.
They incorporate characters from the award winning Lucas and Albert film and the forth coming follow up film Babysitters.
we are assembling a great cast and the film will be shot on location in the Tendring area of North Essex and surrounding areas. The film will use local businesses and the local community combined with our industry professionals including a local film company that will join this award winning team.
Lay-By has already been completed and will be included in what will be a wonderful edition to the Lucas and Albert/Babysitters Universe.
There is already a novel and a series in development that spans the whole history of the universe these films are based on.
These 10 tales including monologue’s and stories intertwine with each other and give an insight into characters from the Lucas and Albert/Babysitters Universe, as well as the novel and series which is in development.

This is the moment when a life time of work with the help of Robert Putt, director Darren S Cook. Life long friends James Osborne, Michael McKell and many others including the local business and community of Tendring and the whole of the East of England for us, the dream became reality.
we hope that we can do this again and if so make our next feature film a reality as well.

The Busker
Another character seen briefly in Lucas and Albert. The Busker is a street performer who has his ear to the ground. He has got himself involved with people he shouldn't have and now he has to pay before it comes crashing down.
Stand and Deliver
Aiden Aldgate is in trouble and he knows there is only one person that can help him and win back the favour of MR. Mac. But is this on the level. Will the only person he can turn to stab him in the back?
Riddlington
A straight copper trying to keep the law and order he wants to see. But he has a past that haunts him. The story is of how he and his young DC Collins talk about being in the force as they hunt for the missing Andrew McGregor.
Nature or Nurture
another monologue from the man know as MR. Mac. The puppet Master who knows all and sees all and knows everything. This is the inner most thought of the man known as The Devil Incarnate.
Lizzie
This is a monologue that give and in depth look into the reasons why Lizzie has become the person she is, as she reveals a tale from her early life.
Lay-by
This film has already been completed and is now in festival but will be included in the final anthology. Aiden Aldgate and Lizzie meet on a lay by on a quite road. They are both going to meet the same person but don't know it.
Dinner Date
Two of the character from Lucas and Albert, who are briefly seen together. No we see then meeting out side their chosen professions. While reflection on what they both have done.
A tender moment as two people who are attracted to each other despite their lethal personas.
Albert
Albert is one of the main characters from Lucas and Albert. We see him coping with his grief at losing his wife several years before that has led him to the life he has now chosen a gun for hire.
Cigar Is just a cigar
This is a film that looks at Charlie-Boy Davis as he is deep in thought while serving a life sentence in a Hospital for the criminally insane. As he reveals his deepest thoughts as he goes through his daily routine.
