Tales of the Underworld
A series of short films that create an anthology of stories that will be inter linked to create a feature film. These stories in turn are linked to the Award winning feature film Lucas and Albert and the follow up film Babysitters that will be in production in the near future.
shot on location in Tendring in North Essex, we hope to have the film ready for screening by the spring 2024.

Tales of the Underworld
Tales of the underworld is an anthology of short films about the criminal underworld. That are linked together to create a stand alone feature film.
They incorporate characters from the award winning Lucas and Albert film and the forth coming follow up film Babysitters.
we are assembling a great cast and the film will be shot on location in the Tendring area of North Essex and surrounding areas. The film will use local businesses and the local community combined with our industry professionals including a local film company that will join this award winning team.
Lay-By has already been completed and will be included in what will be a wonderful edition to the Lucas and Albert/Babysitters Universe.
There is already a novel and a series in development that spans the whole history of the universe these films are based on.
These 10 tales including monologue’s and stories intertwine with each other and give an insight into characters from the Lucas and Albert/Babysitters Universe, as well as the novel and series which is in development.

This is the moment when a life time of work with the help of Robert Putt, director Darren S Cook. Life long friends James Osborne, Michael McKell and many others including the local business and community of Tendring and the whole of the East of England for us, the dream became reality.
we hope that we can do this again and if so make our next feature film a reality as well.

Justice for the Innocence
This another film in the anthology that we have added. It the tale of a journalist looking for a missing person that is part of the anthology.
Feeling that he is writing an article that will shine a light on organised Crime.
Longhurst and Putt Productions
Tales of the underworld will not only be an exciting edition to the Lucas and Albert/Babysitters Universe franchise but will make a fantastic stand alone feature film in its own right.
Babysitters
Babysitters is the catalyst for everything. The story that gave birth to the universe. It started of as a stage play and had atrial run at the Brookside Theatre in Romford. It while trying to raise money for this that we made a promo using the characters Albert and Lucas.

National Film Awards 2021
Our first film Lucas and Albert received the Best Feature Film Award at the National Film Awards in 2021. This film has now been signed and should be re-released in 2024. Not only that but the follow up film Babysitters has also been signed once completed.
The Main Event
As the outlaws gather for what is a networking evening there is tension in the air. But Eddie Aldgate decides to challenge the blind piano played to a fight. This provides entertainment and relief to the out laws.
The Exchange
Andrew McGregor owes people, now he has got himself in even bigger trouble and wants out.
Jack runs a place on the coast and knows he has to pay so does the only thing he can to guarantee Andrew McGregor pays.
